Dev Inder explores the world through his camera in its harmonious wholeness. He discovers the ‘altered reality’ in the images which are very innovative and spontaneous. The compositions are bold and dramatic and imbued with suggestive meanings. Most of the images are in black and white which allows the viewer to look beyond the ‘mere here and now’
Dev Inder’s photography endeavors to create a style which is not mere presentation of objects and incidents, but it re-creates these things which helps the viewer to imagine beyond the mundane reality. These photographs are not mere narratives or documentation. The photographer Dev Inder captures with his camera lens the light and shade, lines, texture, forms and tonalities of the objects which encourages the viewer to re-imagine the reality. The abstract images of Dev Inder give that freedom to the viewer to re-create that reality in his\her imagination.
These images helps you to understand the complexities hidden under the obvious. The viewer sees with wonder the transformation of reality captured in the photograph. While moving in the gallery and looking at these exhibited images the viewer feels that his\her being is engulfed in to a different kind of perceptual experience.
