The event marked the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism, and was a resounding success, filled with divine energy and enthusiasm from people of all ages. The celebration show-cased the core tenets of Sikhism – Sangat (congregation) and Seva (selfless service) – as residents from diverse backgrounds came together for special prayers and festivities.
A Journey of Soulful Devotion
The day began with the recitation of Sri Sukhmani Sahib Paath, setting a serene atmosphere with the Paathi Singh leading the reading of the ‘Psalm of Peace.’ Residents joined in, creating a power-ful collective meditation. This was followed by the soul-stirring Kirtan performed by Bhai Sukhdev Singh and his team from Bathinda.
